Leddie J. Brown

Police Officer Brown, assigned to the Highway Patrol Unit, was en route to the Thanksgiving Day parade on November 27, 1997, when he was struck on his motorcycle by a vehicle whose driver had run a stop sign at the intersection of Bristol Street and Old York Road. Officer Brown succumbed to his injuries two weeks later. He was 30 years-old, served with the Department for 8 years, and is survived by his mother.
