Hugh F. McCann

Captain McCann, assigned to the Front and Westmoreland Station, was directing traffic during a rapid movement of a U.S. Army convoy when he was struck by a vehicle at Roosevelt Boulevard and Rising Sun Avenue on June 9, 1941. He succumbed to his injuries four days later. He served with the Department for 28 years.
